About Virginia  

Virginia is originally from Illinois but has lived in Iowa working as a dietitian for the last 6 years. She started as an inpatient dietitian but quickly moved to working with patients in a clinic setting and she has been working with patients who would like to lose weight for the past 5 years. She enjoys helping people improve their relationship with food, She's active in the weight management practice group within the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and has worked closely with patients taking weight loss medications. She excited to be at knownwell because we care about providing safe care to patients by making sure they feel heard and prioritizing patient's their health goals.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Bachelor of Science in Community Health at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Masters of Family and Consumer Sciences - Dietetic Practice at Iowa State University
