Nizza takes a holistic and integrated approach to patient care. She recognizes obesity as a complex disease that requires medical, nutritional, and behavioral interventions to achieve sustainable results, which often leads her to refer patients to registered dietitians and behavioral therapists for a collaborative effort. Her patients are always the priority in her care decisions. Nizza's previous experience as a nurse in the ER and outpatient surgery guided her toward medical weight management. Seeing patients with health issues that could have been controlled or managed through weight management sparked her interest in health prevention and, ultimately, weight management.
