Michelle is a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in obesity medicine, with almost eight years in the obesity medicine and bariatric space. She started her career at Beltline Health in Atlanta caring for patients after bariatric surgery, where she was the practice's first APC and helped develop both the post-operative program and the broader obesity medicine program.
She earned her obesity medicine certification in 2021, and even though she came into the field not knowing much, she has come to realize it's her calling. She finds deep happiness and fulfillment in caring for her patients and helping them change their lives, and hopes to practice in this space for the rest of her career.
Michelle is the President and Founder of The Georgia Obesity Society which started in April 2026.

Spending time with my friends and family. I'm married with a 5-year-old son, a 2-year-old daughter, and a rambunctious German Shorthaired Pointer named Molly keeping things lively at home. I also love traveling and exercising whenever I get a free moment.
