About Kenya

Kenya Palmer Emrich is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of experience in clinical care, education, and research, with a primary focus in obesity medicine. A former strength coach and current nurse educator, she brings a deep passion for movement, nutrition, and health equity to her work—especially in communities that have been historically underserved. Kenya joined knownwell to provide compassionate, affirming care that meets people where they are, believing that wellness should feel personal, empowering, and rooted in real life.

Education: PhD student, studying nutrition at Tufts University. MS/BS in Nursing from MGH Institute of Health Professions. MS in Exercise Science from Syracuse University. BS in Rehabilitation Science from Boston University.
