Dr. Leddy is a primary care and Obesity Medicine physician with years of experience in chronic disease management, having practiced at Bowdoin Street Health Center (BIDMC) and Atrius Health prior to joining Knownwell. She enjoys working with all of her patients to achieve improved metabolic health. Through her clinical practice and in her role as the current President of New England Obesity Society, she strives to reduce weight bias and stigma and advocates for improved access to comprehensive obesity care.
She is an Instructor In Medicine at Harvard Medical School and an Associate Director for the Social Justice Pathway for the Internal Medicine residency program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
She completed the Kraft Practitioner Program in community health in 2014 and is a 2023 Health Equity Scholar through The Center for Health Equity Education & Advocacy (CHEEA) at Cambridge Health Alliance.
