About Dr. Nguyen

Dr. Nguyen is a board-certified obesity medicine and family medicine physician. After practicing family medicine for 15 years, she transitioned to a full-time obesity medicine practice in 2023. She is a member of the Advocacy Committee for both the Obesity Medicine Association and The Obesity Society. She believes advocacy is crucial in ensuring access to comprehensive treatment, eliminating bias and stigma, and raising public awareness about the pathophysiology of obesity. Dr. Nguyen is married to a bariatric surgeon, and they have four children. She was recognized in 2025 as one of Atlanta’s Top Doctors in obesity medicine.
