About Celisa

Celisa is a Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of healthcare experience, including a decade practicing as an NP in primary care. Throughout her career, she has partnered closely with patients in the management of obesity and is deeply committed to patient advocacy, empowerment, and education.

She works at knownwell because its mission aligns with her own: delivering comprehensive, weight‑inclusive primary care and metabolic health services free from bias, shame, and stigma. Having navigated her own challenges with weight, Celisa understands firsthand the importance of compassionate, affirming, and unbiased care.
