Here at knownwell, we know that managing the sustenance we provide our bodies is critical to effective, comprehensive care. This is not always such a simple task while we are going about our busy lives. For this reason, knownwell is launching a series that will highlight the benefits of healthy and nutritious options you can enjoy in your daily routine! The first in our series spotlights the benefits of Greek Yogurt which can be an excellent staple meal or snack to incorporate protein into your day!

Greek yogurt contains more protein when compared with regular yogurt. In addition to protein, Greek yogurt also provides calcium as well as probiotics! A good rule of thumb is to aim for at least 15 grams of protein and less than 10 grams of sugar per serving.

Some ways to incorporate Greek yogurt into your diet:

·      Pair with berries for additional fiber and antioxidants

·      Add seasonings to plain Greek yogurt to use as a savory dip for veggies

·      Add in vanilla extract and cinnamon for flavoring without added sugar

·      Create a Greek yogurt dressing/dip such as tzatziki

·      Make a frozen yogurt bark for a sweet treat!

Here is a list of some fantastic Greek Yogurt options handpicked by knownwell!: https://www.instacart.com/store/list/ed402217-fc43-468f-a4e6-1f68d86c98fc?utm_medium=shared_list
