About Amy

Amy Laktash is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner and Fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (FASMBS-IH), specializing in obesity medicine and bariatric surgery. She trained at Cleveland Clinic and has experience caring for patients in academic, private practice, and virtual care settings.

Amy takes a personalized, whole-person approach to care, working closely with patients to develop treatment plans that align with their goals. She has a special interest in helping patients navigate both medical and surgical treatment, including those who have had prior bariatric surgery or a complex weight history.

She is actively involved in the ASMBS, serving as Member-at-Large on the Integrated Health executive board, as a state chapter representative, and contributing to several committees focused on research, quality, and patient advocacy.
